About Me

I am born and raised in México. Since childhood, I developed an interest in graphics, colors, and illustration. Later these hobbies made me choose a career and a few years later I’ve got a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design. During college, I learned that we just don’t create beautiful images.

We communicate messages, emotions, and ideas throughout visual concepts, always keeping in mind the recipient, their behavior, and activities to adapt our message to fit the user needs.

A friend and I founded a Design Studio. Our entrepreneurship lasted 3 years where we took over the administration, management,  design, and production. We learned how to sell our job, from wide-format print banners to emailing and web design. Afterward, I joined a software company where I took care of all marketing materials (printed and digital)  and had the chance to redesign the company’s products websites until I became Design Manager.

Three years later, I’ve got the opportunity to come to the USA and started working at Bally Technologies as a Web Content Producer and soon after a Senior Web Designer for Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2014. Since then, I have worked closely with the in-house creative studio translating the brand voice into the different digital outlets. Two years later I was promoted to UX/UI Design Lead.

I feel very fortunate to have chosen a career that fulfills my goals, that allows me to be creative and simply enjoy what I love. And because work isn’t everything, I am very passionate about movies, soccer, try new restaurants and traveling.
